Ryan Lee

Founder | Financial Planner

My name is Ryan, founder of Twain Financial, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional based in Vancouver, BC.

I started my career in financial planning back in 2011, right after graduating with a degree in finance and accounting. At the time, I didn’t fully appreciate how much money shapes our lives — not just our bank accounts, but our stress levels, our confidence, our relationships, and how hopeful we feel about the future.

Over the years, working with clients from every walk of life, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when someone finally feels clear, supported, and in control of their financial decisions.

That’s why accessibility matters so much to me. I believe financial planning shouldn’t feel intimidating or reserved for a select few. Money isn’t just numbers on a spreadsheet — it influences our sense of security, our identity, and our emotional well-being more than most of us realize.

That belief is what led me to become a Media Ambassador for FP Canada, and to create a YouTube channel that has reached over 2 million views. Sharing free, trustworthy education is my way of helping Canadians feel a little less alone and a lot more empowered.

As a fee-based planner, my approach is simple: cut through the noise, be honest, and offer guidance that actually feels human. My goal is to help you focus on what matters most in your life — with less stress and more confidence.

If you’re feeling unsure about your next financial step or just want someone to walk through things with you, let’s connect. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
